Chevrolet.com Redesign 2016

After working on the Chevrolet account for a couple years with Goodby Silverstein, I returned in 2015 to lead the full redesign of the site at Commonwealth/McCann. This included working with technical and UX leads to establish best practices, templates, and a design language to be used in all Chevrolet digital work.

Once launched, Chevrolet’s new site became the model for all other GM sites to follow. I continued to work with teams across multiple disciplines to add new content and functionality to the site. During this time I developed my own skills in Figma, and helped create multiple libraries and resources for teams across the globe to use and implement; including full component, layout, and icon libraries, as well as guidelines on how to use these.

Big thanks to my Group Creative Director, Erika Kayuk; as well as James Vreeland and Rachel Schusterbauer for all of their help along the way.

Finally, in the Summer of 2024, just before we were beginning to transition to the new design, we received top honors from JD Power for the highest “Overall Customer Satisfaction” among “US Mass Market Manufacturer Websites”—and it wasn’t particularly close.
